Damsel Distressed

A piece done for a Life Drawing class -- ironically enough, as none of it was drawn from life (shocking, I know; that dragon just looks so much like it was drawn from a model!) -- it shows the aftermath of a battle between a knight and the dragon he was sent to rescue the damsel of the title from. Unfortunately, as the knight and his incredulous squire realize, the damsel hadn't been kidnapped, but was friends with the dragon, and is most distressed at his death.

Ah, irony...
